This is currently Casey’s favorite phrase.  To me, it represents the confidence she has gained in Kindergarten.  Her teacher uses this phrase to take the stress out of performing, etc.   As Casey was very quiet and unsure of herself going into Kindergarten (despite doing well in pre-K), the teacher’s confidence-building techniques have been very helpful.  Now she claims many things (uppercase letters, basic sight words, drawing pictures to tell a story, and so on) are “Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.”  The phrase makes her smile and as her proud mom, I’m smiling too.  🙂

P.S. – It’s Teacher Appreciation Week.  A big THANKS to all the teachers!!
